Laura Mouche

Children's Ministry Director

Laura Mouche grew up in a Christian household, as the daughter of a pastor. She gave her life to the Lord as a child. However, at age 15, she faced difficulty that caused her to question if God had the power to protect her. She walked a lukewarm life, even attending Bible College. When she was 22, God revealed Himself to her, and she walked away from her life of sin and pursued God whole-heartedly. Within her pursuit, she served in overseas missions, youth group, children’s ministry and homeless ministry. Laura met her husband, Ben Mouche, when she was 24 and he was planting a church in Charleston, SC.

Laura and Ben served the Lord together with the new church plant, when God steered them in a new direction- they struggled with child loss and miscarriages. After their first-born daughter, Paisley Renee, was born pre-maturely and passed away a few hours later, God began ministering His amazing love to them. Laura struggled before with God’s ability to protect, but this time He revealed His amazing foresight. He showed her that He knew that Paisley would pass away, so He made a way for them to be together again by sending His son Jesus to take Laura’s sin away so she could be reunited with her children again one day in Heaven. Laura and Ben served as foster parents for a season, and Laura’s heart for children grew. She now serves as the Children’s Ministry director, wanting children to know who God is, and His mercy in this world that is cursed.
