Judah Callan was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in a Christian home. While He gave his life to the Lord as a young child, the challenges life brought him in his teenage years served to solidify his faith.

In 2018, he felt God pressing the importance of serving in the church upon his heart, and proceeded to do sound at his church for 2 years. During this time, he unintentionally found himself bringing the few youth that attended together through the game of 4-square. Eventually, a youth group started up, and he was simply happy to attend and hang with his friends, ranging from 10-18 years old.

By the time 2020 came to a close, he felt the desire to serve within youth ministry stir up in his heart- but all his youth friends were aging out, leaving his church with no youth group for the foreseeable future.

Thanks to the Love of his life, Tabby Coffin, he found CSD and began attending, where he quickly learned their youth program was in need of leaders!

Judah began serving in the Youth at CSD in the spring of 2021, eventually took part in both a 6 week and a year long internship put on by the Staff. After this, he found himself jobless, and unsure of how to move forward with his future, except with the determination that serving the youth at CSD would remain a priority. God swooped in with His provision and timing and led Pastor Jon Geraci to offer the position of Youth Director to Judah, where he has served happily ever since!

Judah and his fiancée, Tabby Coffin, have been in ministry for years already individually and together, and are blessed to be used as servants for the Youth Ministry and CSD as a whole!

Judah loves reading fiction, watching the Nuggets win the Finals, and lots of games- whether that’s the weekly soccer league or basketball events he attends, or playing complex deck building games while watching Lord of the Rings.

Fun Fact: Judah’s office is, in his humble opinion, a clear contender for the geekiest office!
