VBS 2025 SPECIAL MESSAGE
Letting the Ground Rest
Letting the Ground Rest
Hey there CSD Church! This is pastor Adam with some updates regarding our 2025 and 2026 VBS plans. At CSD we LOVE our VBS’ and we see it as an amazing service and ministry opportunity to both the church body and our local community. With that said, we want to see VBS grow!
This past year you the church went above and beyond in your giving, and for the first time ever VBS was fully funded by your generosity and fundraisers!! We seriously can’t thank you enough for your support and want to give a special shout out to Ashley Diaz and our children’s ministry director Laura Mouche for spear heading that endevor. However, accomplishing this took a lot of work in a short amount of time. This past year also showed us that there is a great opportunity before us to build and add to our VBS team and appoint leaders for each of those teams to share in the overall ministry of VBS.
With all of that in mind and with much prayer we have realized that it would be best to take the 2025 year to prepare for VBS 2026. This preparation will include assembling a fundraising and outreach team to collaborate with Laura throughout the year to come up with new fundraisers and how to operate them. Doing so gives the team more than 6 months to raise the funds.
As we approach 2025, we have set 4 very intentional goals for ourselves and you the church.
I know that for many of you VBS is a very special time and something that you look forward to every year. I know this year will feel very different but we want to invite you and your kids into the process of growing our VBS and strengthening the culture and systems around it. Be on the look out for sign up sheets for those core team positions as well as fundraising opportunities. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
In His Love,
Adam Dobbs

Worship Leader
We believe that we should love the Lord our God with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength. Loving God is our highest call. All ministry flows from a personal relationship with and worship to the living God.
Jesus reminded His disciples, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:20).
